SortieSport was the first product of AgilyTeam, the startup I co-founded in Meylan. The web and mobile app let anyone who plays sports find partners nearby.

Rethinking the model

As sales progressed, we realised that a business model based on community size alone would not be enough. So my partner and I turned to the people who keep sport going every day: the professionals.

SortieSport PRO

SortieSport PRO brought together everything a sports professional needs:

• a website, generated by our CMS
• client records
• activity and event scheduling
• sign-ups and online payment.

Professionals could also reach the community through sponsored placements, targeted by the sport people were looking for. About twenty of them adopted the offer: coaches, wellness practitioners, EMS studios, gyms.

Towards AgilyBox

One of these clients, Inovallée, the technology park in Meylan, pushed the tool beyond sport. That is how AgilyBox was born: the same toolset, sold as a white-label product to local authorities and companies. The two brands complemented each other: SortieSport’s professionals could run the sports activities that AgilyBox’s corporate clients offered their staff.
